Our car suffered a torn plastic front bumper after accidentally running over an icy snow bank at the foot of our driveway. A Google search to find someone who did "plastic welding," brought us to Recon Express. We were warmly greeted by Josh, who promptly gave us an estimate and booked us in for an appointment two days later. Recon Express did an admirable job on our eleven year-old car. The work was performed to our satisfaction, and even came in under the quoted budget amount. Josh and the Recon crew had smiles for us, made us feel at home, and were very friendly. Coming in at under the quoted amount showed us that this company was just not after our money - a surprise in what can sometimes be an intimidating experience at other auto repair shops. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend Recon Express more. I went there after being ignored completely by another business. Josh and company were fabulous, and went above and beyond. My truck had a rotten box and rear bumper that both needed full replacement. Within literal weeks of the Christmas holidays, they sourced both parts from out of province, all the supplies and gear, had it all shipped here stat, had an opening for me, and everything done in less than 2 days after dropping the truck off to them. All on zero notice, and right up to the last day before the holidays. I thought for sure I was waiting til into the new year. They blew all my expectations out of the water, in the best way. I don't generally write reviews, but these guys deserve a good one. Keep up the great business, Josh. You guys rock. I would recommend Recon Express to everyone I know! Whether you have small dents or scratches that need fixing, or in my case had major damage to repair, this is the best place around HRM!

I was rear-ended, and had waited for more than a month to hear back from the shop that my insurance wanted me to use. After discovering that the shop hadn’t even received my appraisal, I decided it would be best to find a different repair shop to have my car repaired, and that’s when I was recommended to go to Recon Express and I am so glad I did!

The customer service at Recon is top notch, they work with you to make every step of the repair/rental process smooth and seamless. They helped me to arrange my vehicle drop off, and had my car back to me in 10 days, exactly on time. My car looks fantastic! They even went above and beyond to straighten out my very bent up license plate so that I wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of getting a new one. Josh who managed the shop was great to deal with and super helpful in answering all my questions.
